Made of synthetic mesh, this
restraint slips over the head like a sweater. The long
ties then secured the bottom to the top, and then are tied off
out of reach to a bed frame or back of a wheel chair.
Very difficult to remove, this restraint is designed to remind
a patient to remain in bed, and, if used correctly, help
prevent sliding off a chair seat. The sleeves are
capable of several levels of security depending on if the ties
are put through the reinforced slots at the ends of the
sleeves.

back laces closed, and the sleeve ends have grommets and ties.
There is a front security loop, and a unique system of loops
which are sewn to the sides and to the sleeves, even further
restricting arm movement. A single crotch strap is fastened
with a Double D buckle.

Humane-Lynch Straitjackets
The leather straps for the back and the
sleeves are removable for cleaning the heavy canvas of the
body. The cotton crotch strap is also removable and is now

solid front loop, and a strap around the upper

fully lined, with a solid front loop, and an upper arm strap that is
held in place by guides attached to the chest and upper arms.
This straitjacket is made to size, and, since the supplier is in
Pakistan, some extra time is needed for delivery. Also, orders
must be made in lots of 5 items, which can also add to the
delivery time. Although the straitjacket displayed is in
several colors, this was specially made to clarify the
